Hardwood Floor Mat Failure
This Floor mat is nicely, large sized, however, as a mat for hardwood floors, it slips on the floor and is dangerous. When a person comes back to their desk, the entire mat slips under their feet. It would seem to be that a floor mat for a slick floor would have some sort of material on the contact side to prevent this problem. Not good.

Good but not for chairs with cheesy wheels
Excellent floor protector, but wish it had one smooth side to protect cheesy office chair wheels from leaving bits of tire on floor. Bought the mat because wood grained rough ceramic tile floor was starting to shred the office chair wheels. But the rough surfaces of this mat are no help

hard to get it to lie flat after receiving
it takes a long time to flatten out. it still moves on the floor, not the greatest.

Excellent Hardwood Floor Protection
Good looking mat that allows the hardwood floor wood grain to show through. Large size protects ample area for my rolling desk chair. Stays put and does not travel on the floor, as you move around in your desk chair.
