No connection
we brought this because we have too many devices , hooked up 2 wifi routers for WiFi traffic and the hard wired connections to switch end result the damn thing did not work except one router which I put on the same ones that were on before so I guess it really is only a one port switch, it sucks. do not buy this.

Working good for ethernet backhaul
I bought this to create an ethernet backhaul between my Netgear router and satellites as they each only have one ethernet port. I also wanted the additional ports for TV and phone systems. I am only using a couple of ports so far but seems to be working well. It was a great price and Netgear is an excellent company.

For home and small business users, I think Netgear is the gold standard. Wanted a 24 port
I needed a slightly larger unit, but was not available for 1 hour pickup. To my chagrin, it was in stock at the store, but not for order on line and pickup at store. I only order online to make sure I don't waste a trip to the store and not find what I need. Very frustrating.

Simple Plug-and-Play
Works like a charm. I simply connected the incoming internet cable into one of the ports on the end of the switch for instant internet connectivity to desktops, laser printer, A/V system and security camera hub.

Works Great

First attempt at integration, failed. Until I noticed the cable has to be (between modem an switch) to be in port 16 of the switch.... works great now.

Replaced under Lifetime Warranty!
We switched to a dedicated server with 16 workstations 3 yrs ago. We believe that a power surge had something to do with our switch failing. Netgear support was quick to respond and sent a new one over nite, free of charge!
