Flash cards means the best class
To make learning more fun for my 6th graders, we put flashcards all around the classroom. The idea was to find one of the cards and complete the exercise in order to have access to another card. Students who collected the most cards got extra break time. It works even with intervention students.

I pair up my math
I pair up my math students each day and have them practice flash cards. These will be a great addition to our daily practice.

Good for Intro to Fractions

So many uses!
These fraction flash cards have so many uses! You can use them as a whole group activity to demonstrate the different fractions (without having to try and draw them equally). You could use them in small group instruction. You could also turn them into a math center; you could have it be a matching activity with picture and fraction or use it for equivalent fractions.
