I gave one to my daughters teacher for a christmas gift and she loves it and is having no problems with it.

DO NOT PURCHASE!
Worked the first few days then started to jam. Even with using the little brush it would always jam after a few minutes of use. Sadly T could not return it so it makes a wonderful paperweight!!

Electric CrayonPro Sharpener
Here at San Bernardino County Juvenile Dependency Court we have a Children's Center for kids who need to come to court. We needed this sharpener because we have a box of donated crayons that are heavily used. This sharpener will help us to extend the life of our crayons.

I purchased this to sharpener to sharpen the Library's crayons while I work there on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Also to keep this in my Son's kindergarten class for them to use. Time Saver!
This is a time saver! I teach preschool and the crayons are constantly being worn down. The children come to me when they can't peel the paper back to get to the crayon. Now I just sharpen them occasionally and problem solved.

Pretty Good.
Overall a better unit than the smaller battery operated ones. Nice that you don't have to peel. Still jams a bit and a little cumbersome to fix jams. At least can change blade unlike the smaller units which just end up in a landfill.Ultimately depends on how long it lasts to determine its true value. Only used a few times since purchase.

A teacher's dream!
I love the crayon sharpener as a teacher because it sharpens the crayons and peels them at the same time. I used to have to replace the crayons in my classroom when they got dull so this saves me a lot of money. The only problem I have found is that the crayons do break off in there easily and then you have to take it all apart to get to the blade where the tip is stuck...

My special needs teenagers love it!!!
My speacial needs teenagers think this crayon sharpener is shear genius!! They are able to make their old crayons look brand new again. This product entertains them for hours upon hours! I never knew they even had a crayon sharpener!
