hard
did not have the cooling effect nor was it soft. I like the gel but said I would try this foam mattress type and it was uncomfortable hopefully it will soften as I use it .

almost what I needed
I needed a smaller-than-usual mouse pad to fit on the narrow shelf of my standing desk. This mouse pad was the smallest I could find and it only hangs off the edge a little. As some reviews pointed out the wrist rest pretty hard with little-to-no give or cushion so that gets a little uncomfortable but nothing unbearable.

Perfect size for the pull out extension on my keyboard tray. The wrist pad is comfortable and it holds my wireless mouse in place when my keyboard is in a slanted position. Highly recommend!!
