We use this for student files so they are handled a lot. The tab stands up high enough that writing isn't covered by paper. Over time the edges will soften and fray so we usually don't use them to store long-term. My biggest complaint is that the colors represented online are nothing like what I received. The actual colors are a dusty-pastel that are sickly looking. ...

Green File Folder
This folder is durable and will last the life of our files which can go into multiple years. It holds up well and the fasteners keep the documents in place.

These File Folders are Great!
I have been using Smead Fastener File Folders for over 10 years (blue green red yellow kraft). These files are not only durable and keep our paperwork securely fastened but they also help us to easily identify our specialty clients' files while the work is still in process and the files are moving through our work system. Not super spacious but great price
These file folders do the job. It's hard to separate all of the papers in them with only two fasteners but I should have gotten a multi-fastener folder. They're simple and a great value if you only have a couple types of documents to file in each folder.

When I organize its "Smead"
My sales team is organized by their Smead Fastener File Folder 12140 2 Fasteners Reinforced 1/3-Cut Tab Letter folder. Its a real motivator is sales meetings when the Smead sales folders come out and everyone sees who has the most folders.

fabulous file folders
use for longterm business and personal storage.definitely a good replacement for worn file folders.
