Awkward
They are nice looking unit, however the second and third shelf are angled. Not sure why a bookcase would have angled shelves. Wood shelves, so they scratch easily.

Perfect!
Absolutely love them! Sturdy, strong, and beautiful! Either I missed something in the description or misunderstood, because I was expecting the whole set up to be metal. Instead it has gorgeous black wood shelves on a metal frame, which I was immensely surprised and pleased to discover! I only wish I had more room to get another set!

Love the Ladder Bookcase
I am very pleased with the bookcase, loved that fact that it came in a pair. very easy to put together, only one small problem. One set of holes in the metal frame was too small for the screws and I needed to tap them bigger. But overall it went to together great, instructions were easy to follow.
