Not recommended
Unfortunately (because I wanted to like it), this is the worst dishwashing product I have ever used. Glasses come out with fingerprints and residue from juices, flatware comes out with whatever it went in with. Not recommended at all.

Clean dishes, zero dyes or artificial fragrances.
I appreciate having an option for dishwashing without artificial dyes and fragrances, and sustainable recycled and recyclable packaging. Seventh Generation has both of those features so that's a win for me! I'm satisfied with its performance, my dishes get clean and they don't have a lingering scent.

Good scent, but the cleaning power is just average
This dishwasher gel is just okay for me. While the lemon scent is nice and fresh, I feel like the rinsing could be better. Sometimes I still see spots on my glasses. It's a decent value for a natural brand, but I’ve used others that cut through grease a bit better.

Not perfect but still okay!
This detergent works fine and gets most of the dishes clean. I like that it’s plant-based and doesn’t have a strong chemical smell, but it doesn’t always handle stubborn food without a little extra scrubbing first. It’s decent enough that I’ll keep using it though!

A gentle yet effective dishwasher gel with a fresh
I am very satisfied with the Seventh Generation Dishwasher Gel in lemon scent. It cleans dishes effectively and removes grease and food residue very well. Great dish detergent
I like this brand for dishes , it’s great for dishes, does not have scent. Great for cleaning stains in the sink, water hardness is not affected by it. Breaks down in a sink and helps dishes to dry faster.

Quality product!
Works great and leaves dishes sparkling! Scent is not overwhelming and it is highly concentrated so you do not need much. It dispenses well and has enough toughness to handle dried on food with ease.

Great natural gel that cleans well without streaks
I’ve used Seventh Generation Free & Clear Dishwasher Gel for weeks and overall I’m impressed. It rinses dishes clean most of the time with minimal streaking, and I don’t see any detergent residue on glassware. It’s gentle and plant-based, which I appreciate, but it’s not always strong enough on heavy, baked-on food. Great for everyday use and sensitive skin/homes.

Great on greasy dishes
Since I have a toddler, I always try to find cleaning products and things that are more better for us and the environment. This dishwasher gel was pretty great for getting off grease and sauce from the lasagna I made. On top of that it has a really nice smell.

No more obtrusive synthetic smells on our dishes
We purchased Seventh Generation Free & Clear because we were tired of our dishes smelling and tasting like fabric softener. Since switching to Seventh Generation our dishes and meals taste so much more natural. This product is difficult to find, so we had to order it at a slightly high price.

Powerful and no scent
Perfect for washing children's dishes as there's no scent so it does not leave the dishes smelling like soap while getting all the sticky food off at the same time.
