BEST SHREDDER EVER
We were tired of replacing shredders every year...I'm sure this one will last much longer. Its powerful, quiet and efficient. It shows when the basket is full and when it needs lubrication. Staples no problem, plastic no problem paperclips? it says it shreds um.....but will re use those ..... Buy it shred it and maintain it......it will be there for you.

Not the same Quality Construction Fellowes Shredder
Would NOT recommend this product. This purchase was the third Fellowes Shredder purchased over the years for our small business. Commercial Shredder? Not really! It doesn't come close to the construction and value of the two prior Fellowes. At considerable cost also! The construction of the bin is flimsy. Very Pleased!!
I previously had the Staples Professional Series for about 10 years before it quit on me. I took me a while to find this one that is very comparable. Love the size of the waste basket so I don't have to empty it all the time. It is very quiet. It gets the job done and I like the safety features since I have littles in my office sometimes.

Not so quite
Worked quietly for 2 months and less than 400 sheets of paper. It is now making grinding noise and right at the end sounds like somethings breaking inside. Also, I now have to push the paper in by applying some force, whereas before I just dropped the paper in. Not sure, perhaps a not fully QC'd unit? I mean other reviews rave about it!

Performance and efficiency
Shreds a lot and quickly, especially for office settings. Just wish it could be a little less noisy, the quiet shredding feature is not that quiet.

Great product
Holds up to a lot of shredding. Being a cross cut it does a great job for security. Handles a decent amount of papers being shredded at the same time. Does an all around great job.

Quite jam proof shredder
Shredder is very strong and so far does not jam. This is after five bags of paper and card stock. I can tell this shredder will be a work horse for me.

don't bother buying this
shreds ok, however the shredded paper bin is made of very poor design. The very first time I emptied the bin and wanted to insert it into the shredder, 2 of the pins holding the bin together at the bottom, fell out/got stuck on the way in and I was unable to push the bin in completely. Barely 2 months later, and the pins keep falling out and I am unable to repair it.

First One Lasted 12 Years, So I Bought It Again
This is the second one I’ve purchased. The first one lasted 12 years and the pushbutton switch finally stopped working. This new one automatically starts cutting as soon as you put paper in the slot as long as the rear power switch is on. Cuts great and automatically backs up if there is any jam to clear the problem. Expensive, but it works.
