Great Product
Had the opportunity to purchase a much cheaper toner cartridge for my HP laser jet printer, but chose HP because it lasts a long time.

Damaged goods
I purchased this cartridge several months ago because I didn't want to run out of ink. It turned out that I purchased it a few months too early but I thought that this was okay because I just left it in its box waiting until I did run out of ink. Black copies are sharp amd clear
Excellent toner and like the incorporated drum. You could provide longer notice at end of toner. After the warning, only a few copies can be made before it shuts off printing. Prior toners gave me enough time to purchase new toner.

This is the newer version of the HP12A. HP just changed the printers a bit and now you have to stock assorted types of toner.

I would buy this product again and again
Because I do a lot of work for customers (type book manuscripts, letters), including book publishers and writers, I use only the 36-A toner. I've received many email advertisements on getting refillable toners, but I don't feel I can trust them. Easy to install
This toner cartridge is expensive, but it lasts a long time. It is easy and clean to remove the old cartridge and install the new one.

HP printer cartridge
My 4 year old HP laser printer would not work with my new Windows 8 system. I had to buy a new printer. I am unhappy with this. I bought Brother since HP has proven unreliable. I strongly disagree with planned obsolescence.

Wll buy again
We print a significant amount daily. The cartridges LAST about 3 weeks. This means buying a 75$ cartridge every three weeks. It gets pricey but the Hp printer is a gem. it is reliable and clear printing so I am willing to make the payment for a reliable printer.

"Too much whiz and not enough bang"
I am a very heavy user of this ink cartridge on a HP Laserjet M1552nf copier. I try to track the number of pages the cartridge prints for cost effectiveness and fees charged for my services. Easy Install and Great Performance
The printer warns you well in advance to order a new cartridge. I find the cartridge lasts a long time (about a year) in my light duty (mostly just a few copies/day) application. Gives sharp copies on inexpensive Staple's mulituse paper. Easy and tidy to replace and simple to recycle by shipping pre-paid back to HP or drop off at a store.

Need more ink life
This product would be better if if had double the amount of toner. I replace it at least monthly. It seems the cartridge would last twice as long without difficultly... the problem is the lack of toner in the cartridge.
