Dot Matrix Printer Ribbons
Just revived my old Epson Dot Matrix printer by purchasing a Parallel-USB printer cable which allows for a printer with a parallel connection port to be used on a computer or laptop with USB ports. This BM188 ribbon now allows for printing once again, which is great for lists, spreadsheets, text documents, etc. High quality and good price.

They keep on jamming up and won't advance. Had to replace 2 within a 1 week period, with a printing count of approx 50 pages.

Broke the first time I installed it
This printer ribbon cartridge is junk. It broke the first time I installed it. Get the Okidata brand.

Great price - poor quality
One star given for the great price. But......no other stars given because of quality.
I have purchased 10 of these now. Might just be a couple of bad batches, but I have a failure rate of about 50%. The ribbon gets stuck and will not feed or print, after about 3 or so small print jobs. A waste of time and paper.
Will try again, maybe...........

Not happy with product
Although this was a lower cost option it turned out to not be worth the price. The ink is too light to read and it skipped spaces on the page.
I tried three different ribbons thinking perhaps it was just an issue with the one but all three had the same result.
I will be going back to the Okidata brand.

Good ribbon
Works like the old Nukote, better than the Okidata ribbons. These are used everday for tickets and labels and are the most reliable we've found lately.

You get what you pay for!
I bought three of these ribbons becuawse of the value. I will never buy another generic ribbon. It was so light, even on the first use, it was hardly legible. We went through all three ribbons within two weeks. We will stick with OKI.
