Love it!
This is my second stand. I definitely would not use it on my lap, but it is ideal for my desk set up for I can lift and lower the angle of my screen.

Not pleased
The lip at the bottom isn't high enough, and the platform isn't secure. My laptop wobbles when I type on it

It's OK but.....
I had another Fellowes laptop riser but found it took up too much space on my desk. I liked the slim look of this one so gave it a try. My laptop stays on, but the riser is not level. Super frustrating when I use the touchpad or type directly on the laptop. I have a separate keyboard that I use most of the time but occasionally work directly on the laptop. Not good valu...

Not bad
I really wanted to like the riser. It's sturdy, the rise was great and I liked the height. What I didn't like was the lip at the bottom to hold the laptop. It's just not wide enough for the laptop to fit into.

Great Riser!
Hubby loves his Fellows Laptop Riser. It gets his laptop to an easy, eye-level workable height. Saves him from back & eye strain.

Fellowes Laptop Riser
The dimensions of the riser is equivalent to a catalog. It is tricky getting your laptop to fit onto the grove and not slide off the riser from an elevated position. That holder needs to be 1/2 inch taller. Great addition to the laptop for eye level placement.

Do not bother
If you do not have a separate keyboard, do not bother getting this. Typing on it leads to extreme discomfort and it shakes when it's tilted. It is only worth it if you have a separate keyboard. Now I have to go back and return this product.

Product description
I wish the product description had mentioned that
this is intended to be used along with a separate keyboard.
When the laptop is placed on it it is very uncomfortable to use.
Now I must purchase an addional item.

Seems Ok So Far
I've only had my laptop riser for a few hours so I can't make a completely informed judgment, but apparently I'm in the 2% of users that have computers that actually STAY ON the platform! My HP has a bit of a rounded bottom, but it stays on the riser with no problems. However, my wife's Dell is more rounded and does not actually make contact with the lip, so I can sympa...

Don't Buy
The raised edge does not perform its purpose. The laptop falls off the stand any time there is any movement.

Just perfect for my needs
I use the laptop riser to keep my laptop cool. It is just the right size and is very simple to use.

Not good for lap use.
I wish that I had known the bottom had the open weave bottom. Hurts my legs when in my lap - now I have to devise a way to attach another bottom to make it comfortable.

Fancy design that doesn't work
I need to tilt the back of my laptop slightly to ease neck strain but the angles on this item are too steep and the laptop falls off. Its also way too high for the average desk. I am now using it as a stand for my fax machine. Works ok for that

Fellowes® Designer Suites™ Laptop Riser
Product is lightweight but does not offer the ability to raise the monitor minutely - screen height and laptop height off desk was too high, uncomfortable to type.
