Poor Quality tape dispenser
the tape refills are great but the dispensers for these refills, not so great. They break very easily and often have received them malfunctioning still brand new. Not good quality at all.

Don't use this on shipping boxes
"Sure Start" is not as thick as the older 3M packaging tape. I used it on all sides of a 20 pound box of books in the usual way (no problems with taping like this in the past). The recipient just wrote to say the box arrived burst open with some other junk in it (not the books), with the statement, "next time use a LOT more tape." So don't rely on this !

Strong hold!
I was actually excited to receive this tape. I immediately brought it to work as we had a few boxes we needed to ship out. The tape worked as expected and was so easy to start- when others (store brands take forever to find the beginning. As we taped up our boxes I know they were taped well you can just tell. Easy to use
I received a sample of Scotch® Sure Start Shipping Packaging Tape and I'm so happy I did .It's so easy to use and handle. No mess just seal and go.I like the nice big hadle,save a lot of time to seal my packages.

Seals perfectly
Happy to try out this shipping packaging tape provided by 3M. Easy to use dispenser that doesn't take up too much drawer space. Rolls smoothly and easily onto your packages without any effort. Though the tape is thinner (I usually use heavy duty), it secures boxes and envelopes thoroughly for shipping. I feel confident using it for all my needs.

Great Shipping tape!
This Scotch sure start shipping packaging tape exceeded my expectations. So easy to unwind and use. The tape was durable and held up even with heavy packages. Would recommend to anyone using a different brand of packaging tape.

Better than the off-brand tapes!
I usually purchase off-brand packing tape to save money, but when I got a chance to use this free sample from 3M - what a difference! It sticks really well and worth paying for.

Great tape
I received this product free from 3M and I’m loving how visible and easy the start of the tape is, when I pulled the tape it pulled out quick and quietly.

Easy to use
Love this packaging tape. It is comes off of the roll well and dispenses easily from the dispenser. The dispenser cuts it easily which makes it easy to apply where you need it. It also holds well in shipping or on boxes that you are just packing up to store. I highly recommend this tape. It lives up to the great Scotch name.

Smooth and Simple to Use
3M sent a sample of this product to me to try.This tape works very well! It comes off the roll smoothly without folding over on itself or wrinkling. The plastic tabs below the blade prevent the end of the tape from sticking back to the roll - no searching for the end of the tape! The blade cuts evenly and easily so the end of the tape stays even. Great product!

Strong shipping tape

The perfect shipping tape!
This sure start tape if great! It sticks just like the other kinds of shipping tape, but you know that loud ripping sound when you’re trying to tape up a box quietly in an office setting, only for it to be obnoxiously loud anyway? Well- not with this! It really is much quieter. A+++ 3M :)

Smooth dispenser with great hold
I was impressed with how easy it is to use this tape dispenser. I tape up boxes a and I wanted a shipping tape that was easy to use and an easy way to apply. This tape does not disappoint. Superb quality

quick, easy, stress free.
3M sent me the Scotch Sure Start packing tape to review and I have to say I'm impressed! The dispenser is pretty normal, but the tape itself makes packing and shipping stress free. The tape dispenses pretty easily, still nice and sticky, but doesn't rip length wise, so you're not sitting there scratching at clear shreds of tape trying to find the end (I know I've been t...

Easy to use
I received the product free from 3M. The tape is easy to start and get going around boxes. It is thicker than other tape I have used so it should hold up well during shipping. I like that the dispenser can be refilled. I also like that it is made in the USA. I would buy it again the next time I need more tape.

Very sturdy!
I am often shipping boxes and of all the packaging tapes this is so far the best one! It really sticks and keeps boxes closed, all my boxes were received with no issues.
