Cheaper 564XL
The new version of the 564XL is lower cost, but has lower capacity. I strongly dislike less capacity and wish the old cartridge was still available. Too bad the name was not changed from 564XL to 564ML. This is a good example of less is less.

GONE IN 60 SECONDS!
I was very sorry about a week after I purchase my printer. I did not realize that it would cost me a small fortune to keep ink in it. HP Solutions tell you that the ink is low after only a few copies. It must yeild 250 pages on XL if you use grayscale only. Wish that I had gotten a laserjet instead, but now I am stuck with this "ink Gusler"

Underperforming
I can't imagine getting 250 pages from this cartridge. I'm happy to get 150! And I don't have heavy printer use, just me using it mostly to print acknowledgement of bill payments I do love the printer though but wish the black cartridges lasted longer

OUCH - another cartridge!
I sure wish I had read this BEFORE I purchased my printer. I agree that the printer does a good job, but the need to replace the ink cartridges so often if way too expensive!
I'll reseach more carefully when I purchase my next one.

Misleading rip-off
One of the draws to spending the money for the C510 was the inexpensive price on the cartridges. They "claim" you should get 250 copies out of the regular cartridge and 750 from the xl's. I have printed, at max 100 pages on my printer since I have purchased it and have blown through the sample cartridge and am 3/4 empty on the new cartridge already (this is the regular ...

A huge disappointment
The capacity of your HP 564 Black ink cartridge falls far short of printing the 250 pages that you claim. I rarely use this term, but it is a "rip-off," and I will think twice before purchasing another HP printer.

I am very pleased with the ease of replacement. I would like to see a longer cartridge life, but I would imagine that you cannot make it last forever in that itty bitty cartridge.
