Cheaper 564XL
The new version of the 564XL is lower cost, but has lower capacity. I strongly dislike less capacity and wish the old cartridge was still available. Too bad the name was not changed from 564XL to 564ML. This is a good example of less is less.

needs longer life
I am extremely disappointed in the life of this cartridge. I had to put the print on "draft" in order to get what life I did out of the cartridge.

Good but shortlived
I am a home user, do not print much. An occasional recipe, now and then a letter. Yet these cartridges seem to be always empty. Seem to only last a month or less.

Not getting close o 250 pgs
I used to be extremely happy with HP cartridges. That's why when I purchased a printer is has been an HP. The last few times I have purchased HP cartridges the performance has been below par.

Won't buy a printer that uses this again
When we bought our printer we asked which one used cartridges that made the most copies and printed with good color. the HP Photosmart Plus was recommended. The salesman said we would get about 250 copies with one cartridge. We didn't get even get close to 100 and the colors were often not true to the original. If I'd known there was a site to see how others rated these...
