Cheaper 564XL
The new version of the 564XL is lower cost, but has lower capacity. I strongly dislike less capacity and wish the old cartridge was still available. Too bad the name was not changed from 564XL to 564ML. This is a good example of less is less.

Necessary but not real economical
The quality of prints I get is good, and it is easy to change cartridges. It just seems I'm changing them far too often!

lots of printing to do, so its perfect!
I am putting together a family cookbook for my brothers and sisters with recipe's handed down from genrations. The larger ink cartridge will be so helpful. The new printer and ink cartridges are the best I have used.

Good with compromises
I find that these 564 cartridges dry out quickly due to to much cleaning! Cleaning pad on printer soaks up the ink reducing the number of copies!
Better than the all in one cartridge! Easy to replace!

Too much $ for too little ink
I have 2 printers, but this one is wireless. I use it more often. The downfall is that the ink runs out so fast, I have to keep an extra one on hand and don't dare get caught without one. The price is low enough if it would only last longer. I use it mainly for personal use, but do use it some for business.

So Far Pretty Good!
We haven't used it much yet but did print both color photos and documents. So far it's pretty good especially for the cost. Black ink on documents could maybe be a little blacker.

Always running out of ink
Black ink doens not last 250 pages as advertised, I liked my 02 ink cartages much better, although the printing of photos is very good, I probably would not buy a nother printer that uses the 564 cartarage, I will not own any printer except a HP, but just don't like this printer ( Model 309g) & the 564 cart

Looking for alternative for this product
I use this product for every day printing - for kids homework, resumes and job searches, and taxes. The cartridge needs to be replaced much too often. I have purchased the larger cartridge (on sale for $35!) and feel that the life of the cartridge was much too short! lasting only a couple of months with very minimum printing being done.
