Cheaper 564XL
The new version of the 564XL is lower cost, but has lower capacity. I strongly dislike less capacity and wish the old cartridge was still available. Too bad the name was not changed from 564XL to 564ML. This is a good example of less is less.

I wouldn't have it any other way
I use this product for all my needs. I have not experienced any problems with it to speak of. My only hang up is the price. I find these cartridges to be a bit expensive for my taste. I've used this manufacturer for many years.

HP 564 toner cartridges
While I like the quality of the printed product, these cartridges seem to run out very quickly. I am using the "fast/economical" setting on my printer and I am still replacing cartridges after 150 copies. Something just doesn't seem right here. Tried the XL (extended life) cartridges and did not notice enough of a difference to justify the cost.

Great product for a great printer
Great price at Staples [...]We use the printer for everyday use such as business letters, documents and even favorite recipes. The ink is great quality for pictures too.

Not good
We have done everything we can to conserve ink and are already running low on ink. We have had the printer (with original cartridge) for under one month. We use the quick print feature. We do not even print much and what we do is minimal, text printing. Disappointed.

LARGE cartridge with PENTAGON symbol
This is the LARGE cartridge with PENTAGON symbol , NOT the SMALL black cartridge with BOW-TIE symbol. Packaging doesn't indicate difference!

Too expensive and too little ink
I will do more research next time I am shopping for a printer so that I am not paying a fortune in ink. I've never gotten close to 250 pages from one cartridge as the product claims.

sucks. product was wrong for my printer
I bought this cartridge to replace my ink toner and I know the number matched what I needed. I needed to find the stupid "hour-glass icon" on the case. How am I supposed to fing the black 564 cartirdge with the hour-glass icon instead of the pentagon icon. Even the clerk at the store couldn't tell. Not enough life in the cartridge.
When I purchased the printer, the salesman said that the cartridge was a less expensive replacement cost. The cartridge is cheaper than my last printer's, but I replace it more ofter.

I find it quite annoying when you have a full "small" black ink cartridge but when the large black one runs out...you still cannot print in black. What is up with that! I am trying to figure out what the smaller black is for? When you need 5 cartridges, 2 being black but only one counts is rediculous.
