Cheaper 564XL
The new version of the 564XL is lower cost, but has lower capacity. I strongly dislike less capacity and wish the old cartridge was still available. Too bad the name was not changed from 564XL to 564ML. This is a good example of less is less.

needs more ink
THe ink is expensive and it sure does not last long. I can maybe print out 60 pages in just black and it is time to replace it.

A good ink, but limited competition
Your program for returned ink cartriges is a good idea, but the return time and the "useable credit" time should be immediately. And at my age, I have a hard time remembering when I should come in to use the credit. And when you delete the credit amount, that makes me want to do business some place else.

I THINK ALL PRINTER INK IS COSTLY, BUT THIS BRAND IS SO EASY TO REPLACE AND IS CLEAR AND SHARP RIGHT TO THE END OF THE CARTRIDGE, THAT IT IS THE ONE I PREFER.

Apparently I need one or more color cartridges in order to print pages that have color on them even though I just want black printing and could care less about color. I wasn't told this when I ordered. That's frustrating. Consequently, I cannot print until I order color ink cartridges. What a dissappointment.

My HP 5520 printer is an ink eater!
My HP printer is a vast improvement over my previous Canom printer, but is an ink eater, plus it uses much more ink than the Canon printer! Plus, the amount of ink is limited by the size of the ink container. The protrusion to lift the lid and gain access to the ink carrier is not large enough. But, to be fair, the whole system is more than satisfactory for my use!

HP cartridges are the best. I've bought other printers using other ink cartridges and will rate this above the others. You can find cheaper ink cartridges on the market but for quality printing docs and photos, this is the cartridge you want to use. The con, the price of the cartridge.
