Cheaper 564XL
The new version of the 564XL is lower cost, but has lower capacity. I strongly dislike less capacity and wish the old cartridge was still available. Too bad the name was not changed from 564XL to 564ML. This is a good example of less is less.

A very good product
I would have picked another printer type if I had known that the hp ink is so expensive. I had no idea at the time although it performs well and is easy to use. I think maybe a kodak would have been cheaper in ink cartridges I have been told. I do however love HP products and have a Dell computer. A good product and very easy to change. I have not tried the XL model as I have the printer off for about 4 months a year and the cartridge dries up so I don't feel the extra cost of the XL cartridge would be a good investment. I have to replace all the cartridges once a year when we start using the printer.

I have to buy again and again and again
HP has always served me well but like most all ink cartridges they just don't last very long. If they sit idle for a couple weeks it seems that service life is shortened even more.

Ink amount
None of these cartridges seem to last very long. I only use this printer for home and I seem to be putting cartridges in them all the time. I do not print pictures or any heavy ink needing project and they still last only about 3 weeks. Not enought ink and printed pages for the price.

Seems to last long
Used to own a Lexmark printer and though it's a cheaper printer, the ink is ridiculous. In the end, I will stay with HP Printers. This is my second one so far, and I don't see me changing anytime soon. Just be aware that the ink cartridges that come with the printer are NOT going to last long at all.

That was eazy
I mostly print pictures and so far so good. The ink dries very quickly even when I print pictures on regular oaper. The cartridge is easy to replce and no mess.

This is a great product and is well priced. It would be nice to see more sales on this item and offer a bundle pack that includes all of the colors. That bring said it is super fast to switch out when the ink is low and there is no mess when you replace this product and placing it into the machine is definitely super fast and easy. I would recommend this product any day...

Sharp print looks professional!
You can depend on a great looking page for any presentation. Ink is superior, but this printer is a little slower than my last HP, and it was SO old I did not save the information - therefore, unable to tell you what series I had before.
But...I have always been surprised that this one takes as long to print a page.

Perfect printing quality every time.
The quality is top notched and I can depend on clear reading documents and greeting cards. There is never smearing and the ink dries quickly.I can depend on the accuracy of the ink levels and it leaves extended time for me to get replacement cartridges.
The store clerks are very helpful in explaining the differences in the various sizes of the cartridges.
