Cheaper 564XL
The new version of the 564XL is lower cost, but has lower capacity. I strongly dislike less capacity and wish the old cartridge was still available. Too bad the name was not changed from 564XL to 564ML. This is a good example of less is less.

would buy again
This product is easy to install and works well since I am an infrequent user ( ~12 copies/week ). If I were still using copies for work, I would certainly search for a more economical source of ink.

Not enough life to the cartridge
Have had to replace this cartridge at least 6 times in 8 months. Not like other printers I've had.

buy the ink speciificall for your printe
Just bought the Longer life set of cartridges .Hope they last longer as stated. $[$] for ink is a lot of money but I love the printer

I didn't get 250 pages
I got less then 100 pages of printing before I started getting messages that ink was low..

Not enough bang for the buck
This ink cartridge needs replaced way to often. Not very good for a student who has to constantly print off assignments.

Way to small for some a heavy user like myself, had I know how often I need to replace the cartridge I would not have purchase the machine. I will not promote this product to friends & family. John Perez.

Not a lot if ink!
Well u certainly got the wrong printer for the job, I live my HP all in one printer but u need something with a toner. Now the 564 cartridge prints a great document but I have now gone through 12 cartridges in 22 days (black) . But at [$] and change it is still cheaper then having the store print my copies for me. get a new printer if yours uses 564!
Their claims of 250 pages are LIES! I dont print all that much, I'm lucky if I get 75 pages out of the 564xl, and I mostly print using fast draft or grey scale.

For basic use printing word document
The 564 Series for my type of printer, HP Photosmart Plus, is great for printing letters and documents. Does not last long when printing pictures. Price is cheap!
