Cheaper 564XL
The new version of the 564XL is lower cost, but has lower capacity. I strongly dislike less capacity and wish the old cartridge was still available. Too bad the name was not changed from 564XL to 564ML. This is a good example of less is less.

Ink cartridges have performed well.
I have always had good results with HP Ink cartridges. I do wish that they were a little more water proof / resistant, so they wouldn't run or smear if a drop or 2 of water would fall on the printed matter. I use the 88, 02 and 564 inks.
I have also been quite satisfied with ease of ordering on line and the prompt delivery.

Ink cartridges have performed well.

the colors are rich in color
HP inks are rich in color and the prints come out true to the colors in each photo. The colors do not bleed into other colors.

I miss not being able to purchase the smaller cartridges. I had to get XL size. I had hoped to get by more cheaply. I only copy a few quilt patterns and some recipes but 2 months is all I get from a cartridge.
Good product but TOO expensive for what you get.

This is my second 4 in one HP, I bought it for 4 x 6 color prints. The HP was affordable, but the constant replacement in cartridges is very expensive. Now my second HP is down once again with the same problem, a black line straight down the middle of a copied or scanned page. I should have kept my original printer and had it repaired for $100. Good ink
It's best to use HP ink on HP products. You get a better color, the ink drys faster and it does not smug. It's nice to get double points or rather dollars why you purchase your ink when Staples has a special, double which is great. Also Staples has enough empolyees to help you find the stuff you want to purchase. I just bought a new computer and they were very helpful. ...

Problems
I bought all 3 colors and this one is not working correctly. I keep running the head cleaner and it still comes out streaky. Have run all the maintenance items on my printer. Still bad.
