Fits in my backpack
This is my "traveling" chill mat. It fits my lightweight backpack along w my laptop. It doesn't have the greatest cooling system, but I didn't buy it for that. I only wanted an easily-packed chill mat, and this fits my needs.

Targus claims 16" but too small for a 15" Dell Laptop.

Affordable but noisy.
The fan itself is very quiet. However the way the plastic cover grills were designed causes airflow to become very noisy and whistling. I had to cut away all the plastic covering fan, to have a quiet laptop mat.

laptop cooling pad
I gave this a 3 stars because the fan at the bottom is exposed and you can't put it on your lap or like with a blanket in the winter. It has to sit on a solid surface. I did like the small size which is what I was looking for. It works but I sit in a recliner with my laptop so for me I have to have an extra board which makes more items for traveling.

Easy to attach. Has kept my computer cool. I was having overheating issues with my laptop and since I attached this cooling fan no issues. Computer works like brand new.

Laptop Chill Pad
My husband has a similar chill pad but his shuts down whenever he closes the lid. Mine doesn't shut down unless I turn off the computer. I really like how the pad holds my computer so it doesn't slide.

Chill Mat
It does the job very well. However it seems a bit unstable as my Lenovo 500 sits on it. It has a tendency to slide off of the back end.

The fan is in the middle nad exhaust is on the side of laptops. Does not tilt.

Targus cooling fan
This fan replaced one I have had for over 10 years. It is quiet running. The single fan seems to do a good job keeping the CPU fan in the laptop from coming on during intensive computing. It is thin in profile. I chose it over a number of multi fan units with fancy lights because of the simplicity.

Works great on HP 15.6 laptop
I put small sticky bumpers on the bottom of my new laptop. This raised it higher off the desk. With the addition of this cooling pad there's a breeze I can feel flowing through. I plug it in to a USB charging tower so as not to run the laptop battery down. Bought it on a whim without checking the reviews but I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Decent cooling for the price
When using this with my gaming laptop it ran a few degrees cooler. The single fan is a little underpowered to make a big difference.
