Get maybe 1700 pages yield, if lucky
This toner does not get anywhere near 2300 page yield! HP claims its yield is "reasonable" at 1500-1700 . We are replacing this toner 3 times more often than the last model of the same printer. Very disappointed

More Bang For Your Buck!
The XL is the best value for your dollar. This product is easy and clean to install. Prints crisp and is fast drying for no smudges!! I highly recommend it.

I would buy this again
I bought the high yield because I use the laser printer for all of my black and white printing. I need a toner cartridge that will last a long time and be worth the price. I do a lot of printing and the HP toner cartridge is good for that and it is very clear and sharp. It was easy to install and wasn't messy.

Only buy the mfg toner cartridge
I use only manufacture's toner cartridges. These last a long time and works very well. Very satisfied.

This cartridge offers an economical way to stretch one's printer dollars. The quality is the same as what you'd expect in any HP cartridge, but the savings from purchasing this larger capacity unit are impressive.

I would buy this again.
It is pricey but I like using the HP Toner when I can afford it! I use my Staples reward and their coupons and always check their e-mail adds to save money ! I use it in my business and I have never had a problem with my Documents being smugged, very clean printing !

not even close to 6500 copies
I have purchased 3 of the 05X cartridges within the past year and none have come close to 6500 copies. More in the 3500 range- makes it pretty expensive toner.

HP Toner Cartridge: your printer knows!
The new HP printers are pretty smart: they recognize when you put in someone else's toner cartridge.
I tried an aftermarket replacement toner. It didn't come close to the genuine article. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and go for the reliable product.
