Replacing a damaged battery.
In my case a power surge rendered my battery ineffective. The battery was expanded in the case so it was very difficult to remove the battery from the case. We were able to change in the new battery and it works perfectly now. We had to remove several additional screws and panels that typically you wouldn't need to remove to change a battery.

I received it in a timely manor, it was easy to install. The only problem has been finding a place to recycle the old battery.

APC REPLACEMENT BATTERIES
APC replacement batteries outperform other non-APC replacement batteries and are worth the additional cost to purchase them.
I’ve even had some APC batteries last up to six (6) years!

Perfect fit
I purchased a replacement battery and it fit and worked the first time. Of course that is what I expected, but there are plenty of cheaper Chinese options that might not have.
The returns website is a little tricky, but if you read it carefully and don't just click, it works just fine

Last a LONG time!
My battery was 9 years and 9 months old and died. The issue I had was getting it out of the unit. Took my husband 2 hours to extract it! It looked a little swollen and I suspect that is the reason we had such difficulty with it.

Extend The Life Of Your Smart-UPS Unit
Replacing the battery on our customer's existing Smart-UPS unit was much more cost-effective than purchasing a whole new backup unit -plus the added bonus of less waste in the end. Looks like they got about 5 years on the original battery - well worth the purchase of this RBC if they can get close to that amount of life out of this one.

Quick, fast and in a hurry!
Made it here quick (when I needed it) and it works like a charm. Had a server that needed pure sine wave switchover and I found an APC BackUPS 1000 in our warehouse.The batteriers were dead and Scheneider got them to me on time!

Usually we have a spare battery on premises, but due to some administrative changes the property count was overlooked and when the low battery warning was sounded we were without a replacement.
