A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

Long lasting cartridge
cartridge lasts a long time compared to other non XL cartridges. The price is a little more, but is worth the extra money to have it last longer.

High yield? HA!
really bad ink life & requires replacement of all 3 colors. Surely they don't all run out together. So we just buy more ink to replace partially used cartridge.

Not enough ink for the buck
I print newsletters and flyers all the time. I've tried using all the 920 XL color and black cartridges. Inconsistent cartridge life.

It never worked
I bought a new 920XL Cyan ink cartridge, installed it and it NEVER worked! I bought another one to replace it and it worked the first time.

920XL Ink cartridges
I purchased a new printer less than a year ago. I purchase the XL cartridges so that I am not replacing them all of the time. They are suppose to print 700 pages per cartridge. I recently did a lot of printing (maybe 300 pages) and the cartridges are empty. I love HP and was set on buying HP when I purchased a new printer. Now I am having second thoughts as I am having ...

Ran out of ink very fast
Just installed this cartridge two weeks ago and already ran out of ink. Hardly used it. Maybe a defect?? However, bought it from here and it was brand new in the packaging when I got it. Use by date was 2013 so don't think it was age related. Have to re-order a new cartridge. Hope the next one lasts longer.
