A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

It would be nice to be able have the option of purchasing packages of the 3 colors in the XL instead of single cartridges.

ink is good but the printer stinks
I purchased this printer from the perspective of "Green." The performance of the printer and the cost of the ink seem to be not conducive to "green - ness."

got a defective cartridge
I went "green" with this copier. Sounded good.... results varied. This particular cartridge clogged after 10 or 20 pages but none of the cartridges last very long. It costs around $75 to repalce all 4 and I have done that three times in the 5 months I have owned the printer. OUCH!

Buy the name for the best for printer
I have always had the best luck using ink from the printer manufacturer. Printers last longer.

so disappointed
I can't believe how quickly these cartridges ran out of ink. I installed all three color cartridges on 9/17, and all three were out of ink on 10/5! And, I had not printed more than 100 sheets. I just purchased this new officejet recently, and will be so disappointed if this is the norm.

Not high yield enough for me!
For a high yield cartridge, print life is not long enough. Not too expensive to replace, though, so I guess the two are trade-offs....
