A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

unknown problem
Have used the multifunction HP printer for two years no problem. Suddenly stopped printing BLACK. Replaced cartridge -- still no black. Annoyed. Threw out printer and got new wireless one.

Not all it is cracked up to be
Expensive replacement of cartridges. Never gets close to the 1,200 printed pages. Lucky to get 500. Like the printer and features but don't like cost of replacing so many cartridges from black to colors.

"Too much whiz and not enough bang"
Doesnt seem like twice as much as regular cartridge. However I got rid of my other printer so I have no choice and dont believe in refilling.

This is a great ink cartrage
I use the XL Black and color cartrages all of the time because of the high amount of printing i do at home and for Ham Radio license classes that I teach.

With previous 6500 Office Jet, the cartridge only could be half used. Could have been printer problem. Purchased new 6500A Plus Printer.

Lifespan of the cartridge is abbreviated
We bought one of these cartridges last July and it dried up on us in our use of the cartridge in a home/office HP printer. We were disappointed we were not reimbursed SOMETHING for it's abbrebiated lifespan.
