A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

Good value and less trips to the store!
Primarily a home user for this copy/print machine. The XL cartridge means fewer trips to replace and a saving over time.

Better than low capacity cartridges
The printer determines how long the cartridge will last. Frequent automatic cleaning reduces cartridge life.

Better for personal use than business
Used in an all in one fax/print/copy/scan for business use. Ink is fast and easy to replace but goes just as fast. If the cartridge life was longer this would be an excellent product for my application

Better Performance from Another 920lx Prod Code#
I found a 920XL black cartridge on hp's website with a different product code (C4906AN#140) that is only a few dollars more, advertises 2,200 (I believe) pages, and has a great review ("this cartridge keeps going and going"). That cartridge (the C4906AN#140) doesn't come up when you do the standard product search for 920XL... not sure why, but I am going to try that car...

This product does not give value
As a home based business owner,I HAVE BEEN VERY DISAPPOINTED BY THE INK CASSETTE'S LOW CONTENTS. tHE COST ACTUAL WORKS OUT TO BE PLUS 50%. i HAVE HAD MY hp 8500 serviced twice within ayear and it ir reported to be functional as expected. Both times I have been advised that hp are under filling the cassettes with ink (but hp will deny this.

i,m sure glad i still read a newspaper,when i read of sub ink sent in my new printer,its time for hp to come clean.how dum do they think we are.all my ink cartridges were near empty on my hp6500 subs/but they looked like new rt off the self ones.shame on hp.help is near just dial hp and demand replacements.most of the ladys in india are very nice to talk to,just be kind...

Not As Expected
I use this for church newsletter once a week and a two page bulletin. I use a copier to make multiples of these documents, so my printer only has to print one copy weekly. I have to replace these too often, and the price is really horrid. Why not give more ink and lower the price?
