A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

Nothing XL here. I use this ink in my HP6500 printer. I am a homemaker who uses the printer for basic things like, faxes, coupons, and letters. I get about 500 pages or so per cartridge. It suggests that the user will be able to get up 1200 pages. I think the only way that is possible is if there is only 1 paragraph per page. Cant wait to move to a different type of pri...

VERY GOOD WITH PRINTING DOCUMENTS

I rely on this product consistently
This product is the best I have found on the market and competitive in price, although I find ink replacements to be too expensive in general. Some cartridges I have purchased elsewhere did not fit the printer precisely and caused problems. That has never been the case with this replacement cartridge.

[$]/Oz. is too Expensive!
I compared the weights of a new and a used cartridge. The difference was exactly ONE OUNCE. I paid [$] (incl. tax) for ONE OUNCE of ink. THAT'S OVER $500/LB. That's excessive.

I have changed a lot of cartriges in this machine the reqular and xl the xl does not seem to have a longe life to what it should

I think it does a really good job for the price I am paying. However, I don't think it does last as long as the specifications say. Also - I think Staples has this cartridge for the best price on this product and Staples is close to my house so that saves me on gas. This is truly the XL of ink cartridges
I used the 920 version of this cartridge and had to change it after 180 pages. I receive faxes on a daily basis for my work and need a long lasting cartridge. The 920XL has printed 3 times that and still has over half left in the cartridge.
