A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!
I just wanted to post this clarification because the 920XL ink cartridge for black is physically bigger than the one for the regular 920 black. XL ...

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

a bit optimistic
-OK cartridges but not as inexpensive as I was led to believe when I bought the printer.
-As is usual with HP printers, even if you only use black and white printing, you must purchase new color cartridges when replacing the B&W ones.
-Our HP printer won't let you print only black and white when the document is in color.
-HP does a reasonably good-enough job but it's ha...

They are Great!
I mostly use my printer for personal items like coupons or recipes. I don't print as much as I would like, because I think the cartridges are very expensive and was surprised at how quickly they need to be replaced.

I would buy this product over and over
It might cost alittle more but you receive alot more copies than with the single cartridge. I use it for everyday coping in the home for personal use.

Consistant quality
I always am satisfied with the Manufacturer's cartidge versus a recycled cartridge. Just like McDonald's; you always know what you'll get.

Only Way To Go!
This ink cartridge seems like a no brainer. It lasts more than twice as long as the standard cartridge and only cost $10 more. Don't waste your time or money on the standard cartridge. Just go ahead and buy the XL.

good
Tell HP to make their ink cartridges see threw, so one knows how much ink is left inside, that way you know their being honest, as far as color sometimes the ink is not to outstanding, not unless I'm purchasing ink that is old. Really make the ink cartridge see threw. That way I know how much is left inside the cartridge. That would be great.

They say you get approx. 1200 sheets...I would say about 600 sheets. I am not sure it is worth to get the xl yet...I will see if the next refill is any better.

Good but,
It would be good if this lasted just a bit longer - overall not bad but at the price just too quick to go. Happy that I skipped the standard size

HP 920XL Black.
All positives with the exception of price, (too expensive) and short cartridge life.
