A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

Great quality and seems to last forever.
This is a very good quality print cartridge and much better on price than most other print cartridges.

cartridge failure
Twice, a cartridge failed to print, although the ink level on the printer indicated that the cartridge was still at least half full. I had to replace the half full cartridge with a new cartridge. The first time i threw away the "half full" cartridge, but this second time, I am bringing the defective cartridge back to the store.

Good print quality plus long lilfe
HP printers have always served me well - I've owned several. This one is no exception. The large size of this cartridge makes for much longer life. My wife and I do a lot of printing and the first 920 XL lasted for many weeks.
Down side of all ink jet printers/cartridges is the cost. It just seems outrageous that you can buy the 6500 printer on sale for about $100 now ...

I keep buying it...
Think the HP product is superior in performance to refilled options...frustrated with high cost and although larger than the color cartridges, it always seems to run out before they do...

Lasts the same as any other
I use this product for photos, documents, and copies. It is easy to replace and is not too pricey yet. The life span of this product does not seem to be as long as products I have used in the past.

Awesome printer!
This is one super printer! I'd buy it again and again (if I had to). Easy to replace cartridges, super easy to use . . . printing, copying, scanning. And I love the wireless feature. My wife can use her laptop all over the house...no wires to fumble with, no need to transfer documents using external drives.

Very pleased with the product
I use it for weekly and monthly mailings, as well as printing snapshots, and am pleased with the product. It does seem they have a rather short life, however.

Smooth run!
Use it to copy daily work for students. Copies are great, clear, smooth. Intense color. However I dont find it lasting as much as it should and a very funny smell is left behind !!

It needs replacement quickly. It should last at least 6 months and may be lasts 3. The colors could be darker.

replacements are too expensive
I bought this printer because the replacement cartridges were supposed to be less expensive. They are not!
