A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

Great Ink
This is an unbelievably good product! It goes in the printer, and when I tell the printer to print, words appear on the page. The black ink is very black; it is really amazing. And it only costs like $100 for 3 cartridges; how great a deal is that? I don't know how the engineers at HP make such an incredible product; they must receive lots of awards.

Want your paper to come out right - Try HP black INK! All your statements and bills can be read without eye strain if you will just use HP ink. Want to make greeting cards- make sure you have HP INK!

It does the job
This is better than the refilled and after market equivalent, but overpriced compared to other brands.
I haven't benchmarked the XL vs. the standard sizes but will in the future.

High density Black ink 920
It is hard to find in small towns. It lasts much longer and I print a lot of documents. I was happy to buy it online and have it delivered to this tiny town in the mountains! I felt like I was not losing touch with reality.

Waste of money
Staples had a great sale on this printer cartridge last year. I stocked up and bought three because I planned to printed a great deal of material. The good news is the cartridge lasted a very long time. The bad news was the expiration date (which is was unaware the cartridges would expire) was very near the time I bought them, which may have been the reason for the grea...

Genuine HP ink cartridges have never failed me! Others (remanufactued) have ruined my printer. After messy clean up and talking with repair techs, had to buy a new printer. If you have an HP printer, only use HP ink. Only way to go is XL sizes. With Staples rewards and cartridge returns, HP cartridges are a great deal.
