A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

Not great
Brand new cartridge but does not seem to have alot of ink. The print is very light and we need to keep shaking the cartridge so that the ink will losen and print darker.

Black is a difficult "color" (that is considered by many to not be a color) to manage across the creative spectrum. Photos are the greatest challenge pirmarily because of various tones necsessary to create the many aspects that combine for an outstanging "retouched" older photograph. Itr works reliably!
The "5 bonus points" for entering 400 characters invites a lot of unnecessary 'fluff' and words just to fill up this comment box. Whatever happened to "in 25 words or less" to keep comments brief and to the point? Ink cartridges are relatively easy to classify...they either work or not work. The HP cartridges have been engineered to work with their printers so naturally...

This is the best black ink out there!! I would highly recommend this HP Ink to everyone!! It lasts longer than the rest!! I have had very little problems with this brand!! I find this HP ink to be the best for the money!! I think it's pricey but worth it because it is better than all the rest!! This product is the best with the "high yield". It is a money saving cartridge, it works well, don't have to change cartridges so often! I have not found a better product!

We have tried to go the refill inking route but found that was not suited to our needs except in a dire emergency in a late night printing project. Great value with extended life
Much better idea than having to frequently change the cartridge. Standard sizes especially for black ink are far too short lived.
