A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!
I just wanted to post this clarification because the 920XL ink cartridge for black is physically bigger than the one for the regular 920 black. XL ...

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

A Quality Product
I really like this product because I like the number of pages you can print with it. It is quality ink in a larger quantity and that is one of the reasons why I buy it all the time.

Top on the line Ink
I only purchase HP XL ink cartridges for my HP printers. These ink cartridges have never failed or caused any problems. I have not been disappointed by the quality of prints I receive. The ink dries quickly, never smudging. The price could be a bit cheaper, although not as high as some other stores. The cartridges are easy to install, and I have never had one leak or dr...

HP 920 XL Black Ink Cartridge
I can make a lot of copies if I use it all at once but f I don't use it for a week or two, the ink has dried up. It gets expensive to change a cartridge every two weeks if I don't make copies during that time lapse. This gives thought to possibly buying a laser printer the next time.

As advertised
Now that they are making the cartridge extra large, I can go a long time without having to worry about getting a refill.

Consistent quality and long life
For several years, I used the "standard" cartridge because it was relatively inexpensive.
However, after reviewing the number of cartridges purchased annually, and the relative cost- even with the recycling benefits- I determined that going "up" to the XL cartridges made a LOT of sense.

It's a product worth buying
The regular 920 has to be replaced too often. Having the extra ink is very helpful

another dissapointment
This is the second time we have received a defective black 920 XL ink cartridge. When we remove the orange cap prior to installing, ink runs out on your hands and clothes, and the cartridge is useless. We feel a replacement cartridge is in order.
The colored 920 cartridges have always been trouble free.

I would buy this product again
The HP 920XL Black Ink Cartridge (CD975AN), High Yield, is a very good product. Easy and clean replacement, very sharp print, and produces professional-looking documents. These qualities are real pluses, compared to other cartridges I have used from other manufacturers. However, I have two problems with Hewlett Packard cartridges: (1) Low-ink warnings begin popping up m...

Do not know what this is!
Not much to say about this except HP products are great. Have never had any trouble with them and ink lasts a long time for personal use.

i prefer oem ink cartridges.
The up 6500 series printer has a print head that gets reused as you change ink cartridges. The print head is doing fine so far. I would have preferred a printer that used cartridges with an integrated new print head. I had a bad experience with a brother printer years ago, and I used OEM replacements only. Time will tell. The xp print cartridge is a better value for hig...

Great Product
I like the XL cartridge because it gives me more ink. I do a lot of genealogical work and that helps a lot. Plus it really helps when printing old black and white family photos for albums. A happy girl here, and I use the color XL cartridges as well.

Does good job, but too pricey!
The HP brand cartridges work great, but empty quickly and cost is becoming prohibitive for fixed income users.
Will shop next time - first for alternate ink supplier and resulting printer brand.

Great Product
this product is a great deal compared to the regular refills. It last it seams for ever comparatively speaking. this is one of the best values that hp has going and with staples rewards and rebates it doesnt get any better. I would recommend this product to any and everyone. It will increase productivity and save you time getting the ink from the store to your office by...
