A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

Worry less.
Why would anyone use any inks but hp inks in their hp printers? Save money? No way, hp inks lasts longer, are brighter, more even and the best reason to use hp inks, WORRY free.

Good ink, but it did not solve my problem
Got a printer failure message. Black cartridge was running low. In the past when the printer quit working, it was because the color cartridges (which I don't use) had dried up. So I purchased black and color cartridges. Wasted. It did not solve my printer failure.

Colored high yield ink cartridges.
I was afraid that the high yield cartridge would not fit my printer. It fit perfectly. Perhaps on the site it should say that it is high yield, but the same size as the previous cartridge. sizes.

Often, turning off the printer and unplugging it helps. Take out the cartridge and re-insert it when the printer is turned back on. This process helps the printer register the new cartridge.

It's not red at all.
This ink does not print red but comes out looking like lemon skin.

I understand you are having difficulty with the yellow ink. Since this is not a combination color cartridge, there are a few strategies to figure out why your printer does not print red ink.
I think the reason the red cartridge is not printing is either a leak in the yellow cartridge or yellow contamination on the red cartridge. I recommend taking out the cartridges, inspecting them, and using a gentle cloth to clean the printhead.
If that does not resolve your concern, it might be a separate issue that does not relate to the yellow ink cartridge.

The Poor Rating is ME not the Ink!!
I was so excited when I got the ink as the it arrived in record time.....BUT I ordered the wrong size ink and didn't realize it until I opened the package, Grrrrrrr! The rating is 5 stars for HP, and really no star for me!!!
