A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

IT DOES NOT GET 1/2 OF AD'S
iWAS COPYING SO OF MY DAD'S OLD PICTURES. I PUT ALL NEW CARTRIDGES IN. THE YELLOW LASTED FOR ABOUT 210 PAGES(2- 4X6 PICTURES PER PAGE). NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE 700 YOU BRAG ABOUT.(TIME TO BUY ANOTHERONE)

Product did not seem to live up to professions it would last significantly longer than original configuration of cartridge - it lasted minimally longer (not even truly noticable in amount of time\pages before replacement was needed)

My wife printed a invitation that was all brown with a negative print. After about 50 8x11 prints the yellow was gone. I think that is good. I find that these cartridge still print for quite some time after the HP program tells you to replace them.

Too much whiz and not enough bang
The HP 920XL printer uses too much ink. The colored ink does not last long.

Capacity for price gives clear advantage
n less than a year with my new 6500 printer, I've just bought my second XL pack. The original smaller one didn't last 3 months. My first XL cartridge still shows some ink after 6 months, which is a clear advantage in lifetime. In addition, its price of only 50% more than the small size means this is the right one for me to buy. I use regularly only for personal purposes...

HP color cartridges
The color is great, but it doesn't come close to printing 700 pages if you use for documents with lots of color. More like 200 pages at best.

Awesome
I use this product for production of all personal and business documents such as resumes, modeling and real estate photographs. I wish this product was less expensive or at least compared to the black 920xl cartridge

The ink is reliable but the printer requires a LOT of it.

Totally bogus page counts
I use color to print photos and only an occasional color text documents. I'm even careful about selecting black&white printing for webpages. Even with all my vigilance, the 920XL series is providing an acceptable number of printed pages. The 920s are rated at 700 "pages" and I'm not getting even 50 photos out of a set of color cartridges. An easy to replace cartridege.
I use the printer for college work which involves reports and documentation which the colors are pretty good. I think the little side window on the cartridge which was on previous cartridges were still available because it would be much simpler to see how much ink was left instead of having to depend on the software to tell you.
