A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

Doesn't Work
The HP Magenta cartridge has the same problem as the cartridge it was meant to replace: the ink has congealed into something similar to a pencil eraser and it won't lay down any ink on the page. I think I'll switch to Epson.

Not as advertised
I was very disappointed that I could only get 150 pages out of the XL color cartridges!!! I was printing calendar pages which had photos at the top and calendars at the bottom. I had 30 calendars so I used a LOT of ink. Very disappointed. My old dead Canon printer worked much better and used much less ink to print the calendars. I wish I still had it.

HP 920XL
Very satisfactory product. Probably the best part of HP printers is that they don't clog. It does take way too long for them to cycle, prior too printing, sometimes as much as a minute or more. I'm not sure if this uses more ink or not. The ink dries quickly and doesn't tend to curl the paper as some of my past printers and inks have done. Colors seem to be true and sol...

Colors have a short life because all colors print even when you are only trying to print black ink dialogue. That is the fault of the HP printers.

So Easy
It was simple and easy to head down to Staples and pick up all the ink I needed to get my all-in-one back up and running. My daughter informed me the printer needed ink. When I checked it, all of the ink cartridges were empty. So , as luck would have it , we live a quarter mile from a Staples.

Great Color
Used previous cartridge up by printing off copies of a hot pink flyer. The last complete one that printed was as clear, sharp and bright as the original.

Great Ink
I print lots of photos and print shop pages for crafts and scrap booking. This ink lasts a long time and is beautiful bright color. Price is reasonable too. Easy to remove and install without getting ink on your fingers. I like the XL because it does last longer and I get more bang for my buck.

The ink cartriges perform very well. as a matter of fact HP machines when you use HP recommended products work great. Refilled cartriges or any other type of replacement tend to screw up the machine. If I had any issues at all it would be the cost. I find the XL's last longer and give great print quality But the cost of ink is just plain crazy from all manufacturers and...

I buy this product frequently
I have sold my photographs for over 30 years, and love the fact that I can print myself, get excelent results the pictures always look great. By the way, I have used hp printers and ink from the time I started. I also love the fact that I can go on line and order from Staples and have delivery within a day two
