A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

920xl-Magenta
I print mostly in black, but I find that the color XL cartridges also don't seem to last as long as I would like. The color is o.k. when I print in color, I just wonder if there is an evaporation concern for these cartridges.

HP 920 XL cartridges
The XL cartridges last a little longer than the regular cartridges but, you really don't get a lot out of the ink cartridges for the HP multifunction machine. It is sad. You should get more for your money.

i expected more from XL
if printing everyday/generic work, it's very good - will last a long time, but for photos, i am very disappointed - the last batch i bought was defective and lasted one week and that week i didn't even print any photos out - very, very unhappy with the money i lost on my last purchase....
