A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

Not enough for Photos.
I think that you get alot for your money when printing everyday item, but do not get as much for the use of the colors when using it to do Photos.

Capacity for price gives clear advantage
In less than a year with my new 6500 printer, I've just bought my second XL pack. The original smaller one didn't seem to run out before 3 months, but I replaced it with the XL size like the others. Premature failure
Failed and will not clear with head cleaning. Used only a few weeks. Now out of ink indicator. The XL is DEAD.

HP 920XL Ink Do Not Buy This Printer
This ink does not last at all. I would not recommend this printer or cartridge to anyone. I realize now that the salesmen knew they would have a frequent ink purchaser in their store by selling me this printer. My sister has the same one (she's a teacher) and she is disappointed as well.

Colored Ink for Photos
I use colored ink for photos. They come out great since the color is true to life. I can use these photos as artwork.
The only "con" is the price can be expensive. Coupons and ink cartridge rebates help.

The only thing good about this is the convenience of installation. The ink is too expensive and runs out too quickly when printing pictures, graphs, etc.,D
