Did not perform as advertised
I bought this thinking it would last longer than the smaller cartridge. I got less than 30 printed pages. Office Jet Pro 8500 constantly is cleaning the printheads, etc. using up ink as if it were water.

Makes a Statement
Whenever any of the other inks are low the yellow takes over the page. Generally does it when Cyan is low. I feel as though I have to than replace another cartridge before it's life is over.

This product works adequately
This machine, the HP OfficeJet Pro 8500A, allows no alternatives. It requires a lengthy startup sequence before it is ready for the occassional print job. It seems to eat up ink cartridges rather quickly.

Fast delivery, good price
This is not the first ink cartridge I've ordered from HP and it won't be the last. I was surprised to find that their website prices were lower than anywhere else, plus shipping is free and amazingly fast.

Great named product for less.
We have three inkjet printers I'm the office. I maintain one each color cartridges at each printer. Great ease of swapping out empty cartridge and inserting new one. Added plus is rewards offered by Staples for used cartridge recycling. Plus plus.

I really like my HP printer. The quality of prints, black & colr are very good. My new computer seems to use the ink faster, or else the cartridges hold less ink. And I even buy the larger ones.

Poor value, displays 1/4 used after new
This cartridge, and its companion colors all display as 1/4 gone when installed brand new. The worst part about this cartridge is the printer since it will not work even on Black and White setting unless all four printer cartridges are installed and have enough ink left. Bottom line: Rip off!
