Not keen on Staples marketing tricks
Nothing wrong with the HP ink. Problem is Staples who sent out a $5 coupon and then wouldn't honor it in the store telling me I had to use it the next time I came in. There won't be a next time guys. Apparently I could have used it right away online but had to buy something in person to get them to honor the coupon "next time". That doesn't even make sense.

Best to be prepared!
For a non profit association like ours we never know when we will print a lot of copies so it's good to have extra ink on hand.

Quality Ink but a bit pricey.
I am very satisfied with HP ink but wish the price were lower.

Their prices have really jumped
When I bought this printer I looked at the prices of the replacement cartridges. The cost then did not seem too bad. I do not print must so 8 months later I got a shock. The prices were now double what they started at. I have been had by HP again. When will I learn.

Well worth the money.
This printer is used for church bulletins and other church business. The colors are sharpe making the printing look very professional.

Always works
Bought printer for business use but now it gets mostly household and NFP organization use. The cartridges are easy and the ink looks great even when I do two-sided copying. It's on the expensive side but I'm not comfortable with knock-offs.

Save Your Money
The XL gives long life and is a cost savings. The standard 940 is short life and not worth the small savings if you are a heavy user. The XL is more cost effective

Product is good - can recycle the cartridges for credits with Staples - always a good deal
