Pendaflex sure hang legal folders
They are just what we were looking for. They are sturdy and flexible. It is nice to have a brick and mortar store to go to instead of ordering them on line.

Fat on the top
The folders are nice - sturdy. They are however, thicker at the top than other folders. They take up more space than others do because of the thickness.

PLASTIC!!!
I'm a historian, and bought these to replace some that are 50-70 years old, where the weight of the files had wrecked the paper-sides.
What a total shock to use a new one, and find they hang from a Plastic cross-piece; not steel.
I wonder how long they will last????

Pendaflex file folders " sure hook " model only are a very poor design. They do not slide well because of the plastic rails on them. I immediately returned them and realized why there was only one box of them on the shelf. Other pendaflex products using metal rails I'm sure are just fine. I would not stock these plastic rail models if I were Staples.

Inferior quality
The hanging folders are inferior quality because the hooks are now plastic compared to the old ones that are metals. We file important documents that needs long life quality not disposable plastic

Pendaflex SureHook Hanging File Folders
These file folders guild over the cabinet metal rails. The cheaper file folders get stuck and have to force them to move up and down the metal rails. The SureHook file folders are worth the little extra money.

I like the pendaflex legal hanging folders much more than the Tru Red I previously ordered. These now have the real legal size plastic tabs, the Tru Red legal were much smaller. I definitely recommend the Pendaflex legal hanging file folders.
