Not an opener a ripper
My current letter opener was not slicing any more and I needed a sharper one so it would slice and not rip the envelopes open. This one is definately not sharp and does not slice open smoothly but rips the envelopes badly.

Not an opener a ripper
My current letter opener was not slicing any more and I needed a sharper one so it would slice and not rip the envelopes open. This one is definately not sharp and does not slice open smoothly but rips the envelopes badly.

doesn't work
receiving this item i thought there would be no issue - the edge is actually promising. it ends up just dragging the paper open if you're lucky. sometimes some paper you can do this cutting motion and it opens smoothly but most envelopes just get destroyed. do not recommed!!

Seems Good To Me - I Like The Handel
This works well for my needs. I open 20-100 letters at time and so far this seems to be a great product. It's a little sharper than my old letter opener but not sharp enough to be a problem. I recommend this product.

Low longevity
The handle is plastic. I only used mine for about a year before the handle broke and that is with light usage (a few regular envelopes a week). My coworker says she notices hers bending/flexing too. They work okay to start out but with regular usage over time they don't hold up well. Mine's handle snapped off mid envelope on a small paper envelope.

Just ok
I went off the reviews and purchased this letter opener. It did not live up to any of them. This letter opener is not worth the price. It may be sharp for the first two or three envelopes but then its no good. I would not recommend this letter opener for high volume mail.

Ok for the price I guess. It opens the letters but not as easily as another one that I have. It takes a little work to get it in motion.

We purchased one for use in our copy room and it ended up on someone's desk...So we bought another. It's also great that it is made from recycled materials!
