HP Prices are Pathetically High
Your price is pathetic at $85.00.
Compatibles HP models are $27.00 and look identical, including the packaging, to HP

Not even close to the 2000 copies
Very disappointed with the amount of quality copies. Got less than half of what was expected. At the price I paid, it was unacceptable for business use.

Get the 2 pack
If you are going to use this printer a lot make sure you buy the 2 pack to get the best pricing value.

good price for multi pack
my other printer used a black cartridge at least every 2 to 3 months and they were in the $30 range. I get about 6 months or so out of this type.

Reasonably priced
I use the product for high volume, low resolution business printing because of cost

Won't save you money on cartridges!
We decided to go for a laser printer when we saw how much we were spending on ink jet cartridges, and how economically priced the HP1006 was. Well, we were wrong. HP seems to have engineered these cartridges for a short shelf life. It gets nowhere near 1500 pages - 500 would be more like it. Probably a toss up whether this costs more or less than ink jets. And ink jets ...

I liked the convenience
I do a considerable amount of printing in the fall, and the cartridge, though easy to replace and reasonably priced, does not last as long as stated. To get 1500 pages you have to use draft mode.

A good buy on overpriced cartridges
The only real complaint about this product is that it yields far too few printed pages for the price. The two pack bought from Staples at least reduces the cost per cartridge somewhat.

Cartridges made a mess!
The magenta and cyan cartridges leaked out on the paper and made a huge mess.

Overpriced HP toner cartridges
This toner cartridge[$] produces about 1500 pages. Other toner cartridges that retail in the $80 - $89 range yield 3000 pages. The cost per page for this cartridge is $.0466 where others come in at about $.03 per page.

Better buy for 2 than for 1.
I print a lot of documents. I am always looking for the best buy.
