Shape needs to be included in title.
I was surprised that the combs were oval, not round. I am still not convinced that this shape is better.

They work fine, but...
We really wanted ROUND - and they look round in the pictures. These are oval. Oval doesn't work as well when you are opening the book and turning pages.

Disappointed
The photo showed a circular binding comb, so I thought it was something other than the oval one we used to use and decided we didn't like. Now I am stuck with a box of the ones we don't like

Fellowes 1 1/2 Inch Plastic Comb Binding Spines
These 1 1/2 inch Comb Binding Spines worked perfectly for my application that was a 500-page (2-sided printing) genealogy report. There are three locking spines that really lock the book binding very well. I had no problem assembling the 100 books I created.

We would buy this product again.
We put together student made books quite often. The plastic comb bindings work very well and and seem to be very durable.

1/2 inch plastic bcombs
Personal use, have no machine. Used large Plastic hanger to attach comb, then attached pages to the comb. Used for Family Event Calendar.
