Thinnest plastic possible.
If you get what you pay for that's what you get with this. It's cheap cheap cheap. I wouldn't buy it again.

They work but they are cheap in every way. Cheap plastic very fragile feeling.

Cheaply Made
I ordered 1 of this product and it's cheaply made but serves its purpose. I needed a few more and the quality was worse. The cardboard backing they used for those frames was the sturdiest thing about the frame.

It is not just black. It has a lot of gold as well so it doesn't match the rest of our frames. :(

Would not recommend.
I would have give it zero stars if that were an option. We framed a "Masks Required" notice and hung it on the front door of our office. It lasted one day before it fell off and broke into four separate pieces which could not be put back together. Cheap junk.

great for a poster
This frame is a great value. Simple elegant perfect for a poster. easy to assemble. not terribly sturdy but it's lightweight and perfect for a one-nail hang.

Too lightweight
While I wanted a light-weight frame to hang a picture on the wall the tab to hang it on the back was just heavy cardboard and would not support the frame long term as it split in layers. So I replaced it with a glue-on hook.

Simple and looks nice
Nothing extravagant the gold trim on the inside looks nice. For a simplicitc frame it does well.

EZ mount frames
I think for the price they are very nice. Several of the ones i ordered had wrinkles in the clear plastic and i am Sending them back to be replaced. That's why i only gave them three stars
