could be great but major flaw with mouse platform

I finally found a decent keyboard tray: it elevates to the perfect height for me (a tall guy who needs something significantly higher than desk level) and it's sturdy while typing for 8+ hours a day. It's sooooo close to perfect but for one little issue; the mouse platform does not adjust horizontally only vertically so the mouse (as you can see in the picture) cons...

Awesome!

Just installed today. Works really well. The most adjustable keyboard tray I have ever used. It is super ergonomic and comfortable. One thing is that we were missing some hardware pieces. I had extra from other projects so no biggie but for someone else that would definitely have been a pain.

awkward handle location

The tray itself is pretty sturdy, tilts and raises up for stand up position.

Howewer, the tilt hand is located directly under the tray making it impossible to place over my legs when sitting. Unfortunate design flaw for a product that is otherwise well built.

I needed something with a long track for a corner installation and this fit the bill. It easily moves in and out and up and down. One minor annoyance the mouse pad is slightly higher that the keyboard (by about an inch). Prompt service

I recently purchased a keyboard tray on line and was very pleased with the product but even more impressed with the service. I had ordered the same product from a competitor and they delivered it 2 weeks later and sent it the wrong address. Staples delivered before the estimated date with no issues!

The keyboard tray is easy to operate. I am only 5'1" and its maximum height is good for me. I don't know how it would be if I was tall. I also purchased a swivel arm for the monitor so that it can be higher or lower as well. It all works as expected and does give me the option of standing or sitting which is great. HORRIBLE

I've used this thing only a handful of times, and today when I slid it out, the tray popped up to the highest height, became detached from the mounting piece, and FELL ON MY FEET! Not only can I not slide the tray part back in, but the height of the tray is locked into the highest height, and it won't move. What a HORRIBLE product. I can't believe I spent almost $500 on...

Good item for the price

I purchased this product on line from stapels and it was delivered the next day. Not bad service. I opened the item and it appeared everything was included. I started to assemble the drawer and the directions were OK, but not very clear. A few more minutes maybe typing the directions instead of just showing a picture would have been helpful. The 3M line of Adjustable Keyboard Trays were recommended to me by my physiotherapist when I had my first instance of tendonitis in the right shoulder a couple of years ago. The tendonitis has not come back, so I am compelled to give 3M a high recommendation. I am an internet chess enthusiast.

A Perfect Fit !!

The best thing about this higher end 3M Keyboard Tray model is that the mouse pad tray is completely detachable.
