Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

Harder to Find
My old HP Photosmart printer is doing just fine, but the ink keeps getting harder to find. I ordered this and picked it up at my local store. Maybe it will nudge the local store in the right direction.

Always satisfied with quality of HP ink cartridges. Don't do much colored prints, mostly black. But with my current printer 5 different colors are necessary even doing black only. Best value is economy box of inks. Always shop Staples.
