Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

I try to use black ink only to print becasue these cartridges are too expensive and don't last long.

I would buy this product again and again
I tried using the generic ink and found out that while it was initially cheaper, I went through it much faster and in the long run it was costing me much more.

i use the ink and like the col ,my only objection is when my photos get wet,they tend to smear and bleed.

Good but have some concerns
It provides great color however it's very pricey for the length of short life it provides compared to other HP ink used for other printers I have and have had. Seems like like ink is used up fast for simple prints of documents that don't consist of much colored requirements. Prints are 90% of doc. Printed on regular stock paper not pitcures and not high gloss stock. But...

LASTS LONGER THAN THE OTHERS
This color is used alot in the printer but the extra large lasts longer than the other colors that are used each time you print. The yellow, and black go down fast as well but light magenta and light cyan last the longest and aren't used as much but they expire quickly. The extra large ones are more economical for what I print. I usually use these to print bank document...

Great Color!
This product is very easy to use. The old cartridge pops out and the new one pops in. No worries regarding spilled color.
The color is very bright and does not fade. I would recommend this to anyone. I have tried the "generic" cartridges the color seems to fade. The brand name is the way to go.

This is a much needed product...
This ink is a must have for my house! I use my printer all day every day to print coupons for my family and for my small business. I am frequently running out of this color, so I am frequently buying this cartridge. That is not a good thing, but I don't want to replace my printer at this time. XL is the only cartridge I will buy.
HP is the only printer I would consider buying. It is easy to work, produces quality prints, last a long time, and it is the best for printing pictures. I have tried others but nothing seems to work as well as the HP. The cartridge seems to last, not a long time, but is reasonable for the amount of printing that I do. The picture quality is very good. Hope this helps.

It's HP ink, it's blue, it prints blue. Not sure what kind of rating to give it. HP is a good printer manufacturer. I have always used their printers. As with all printer manufacturer's they charge to much for ink because they know you have to use it. Although I think that HP is the best as far as cost per page for their ink cartridge's.
