Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

I love my HP printer. Reliable.
Never have experinced any major problems with HP ink cartriges. We use the photo printer primarily for personal and family use. Ink cartriges are dependable, trouble free, easy to use and replace and always yield bright color prints. very easy to replace and cleanly done!
just wish, even though printing in black (advance printer preference set on black only) that colors wouldn't go down. I understand it is not the color cartridge but the way hp printer is.
